The choice if style is a good balance of energy efficiency and visual congruency with the building facade.

    It’s a good thing they have sashes. The modern look of windows with just glass and no sashes tends to be inappropriate for many older buildings, particularly those built before the 1950s.

    They look good, I was a little horrified at first seeing them being removed. I REALLY hope they haven’t ended up in a dumpster somewhere.

    What is it with Toronto and it’s obsession of cleaning and sanitizing all traces of history?
