Councillor Perks in an email newsletter send out in past few days has reiterated his living room visit offer to discuss ward issues. (Ward 14) Additionally in the newsletter he promotes a move to – discussing with ward residents how to make Toronto an even better place to live.
Both the better place statement and the living room meting are a welcome sign that one councillor aim is to create a climate that empowers local people and communities.
