So the underpass in question is that the one on Keele between Vine and Junction road?
Also the road widening – where to where?
Thanks!
This would be the bridge underpass from Keele (Trinity New Mall Complex) and East of it to Old Weston Rd (Delta Bingo location) where it is now restricted to two lanes only, this would become for lanes now ( two in each direction) and a new bridge. The original cost was 32 million to have this done and in the report it shows it is approved starting 2015. Maybe Councillor Nunciata would have more info on this. If anyone has addtional info. please update this junction blog.

Also included is a St. Clair / Metrolinx grade separation project at a total cost of $32m with the main work in 2016-18. This would address the narrow roadway between Keele and Old Weston Road.
Hey keep
The comments posts coming u know much more than the blog on the subject.
The money could be better spent. We’re talking about 32 million.. A new old Weston road bridge was estimated at 7.5million in 2007
I agree its a lot of $$ but this is not just the bridge it would include the widening of the road way to four lanes as well which is a must for this area especially with the new mall being built very shortly for traffic conjestion. It would not solve all the problems but will help a lot to keep the vechicles moving along St.Clair.
